With SCOPE, Ania Losinger and Mats Eser break through the boundaries of their earlier worlds of sound. In the last part of their trilogy the electro-acoustic Xala III meets the Fender Rhodes. An expansive cascade of sound and dance, labyrinthine rhythms and immense, flowing spaces take shape. These are concentrated into instrumental songs that can be listened to on the CD bearing the same name. And the dervishes dance, the groovers sway, birds fly, excited and joyful, speedily high, then skimming low.
The live performance of SCOPE is a dialogue between two instruments and two musicians where joy, truth and compositional diversity encounter musical precision.
